Shaman Thunder Page Five

Here’s the five page of Shaman Thunder, a twelve-page comic that Josh Burggraf and I collaborated on:

Shaman Thunder page 5
Previous page.

For Shaman Thunder, Josh and I brainstormed the plot, divided it up into a page-by-page outline, and then drew alternating pages. Then, we decided to reorder the first four pages so that it’s two pages of me and then two pages of Josh. We like to be confusing. Shaman Thunder was originally published as a minicomic by the Gold County Paper Mill.

Lake Conroe Sketch

Filed under: Sketchbook Pages — Tags: , — William Cardini @ 7:52 am

Back in April I spent a weekend with some friends at a lakehouse at the northern end of Lake Conroe (near Houston). The northern end of the lake is less busy because the lake is shallow and there are a lot of tree stumps, mud, and other obstructions. We went out on a boat ride among the detritus and I felt inspired to make this sketch:

This alien crystal lake may be the setting for a future comic.
